Joan Chak is a television, film and theater actor who is known for her comedic and dramatic flair. Joan received Best Supporting Actress nominations/awards at film festivals for her work in the dramatic shorts, Contrition and Baking Cookies for a Witch’s Funeral, and the feature film, Illusionism.
Joan avidly creates her own content: writing, directing and producing both films and plays. This includes her award-winning short film, Hott Yoga.
Joan is currently studying at Diana Castle’s Imagined Life Acting School (LA) with teacher, Faline England, and previously studied at the Playhouse West Acting School (Philadelphia). She is represented in NY by The Talent Express and in Philadelphia by Roe Lennon/AMA.
